The Experience
Designed to remove distraction and create focus
ViSLab offers 2-3 days fully facilitated, all-inclusive deployment for leadership teams. This experience is held at our intentional distraction-free facility, explicitly designed for maximum cognitive presence, collaborative thinking and complete leadership synchronization to accelerate long-term financial strength.
In the Swedish wilderness, at the foot of the mountains, ViSLab has its facilities. The main building - a genuine hand-built log house from 1880 - has been meticulously moved and reconstructed using organic, natural building materials. The owner, Katrin Halvarsson, ha personally executed every stage as the builder, carpenter, bricklayer, engineer, constructor and designer, ensuring that the environment is explicitly designed for the purpose – a place for leadership teams to think together.
The facilities comprise four cottages wit 18 beds in total, distributed across 10 bedrooms. At the premises there is also a firewood sauna, the main building, and enough land for activities and outdoor cooking. The place is situated on a rolling stone ridge, with the lake on one side and a winding creek on the other side.
The culinary base: The main building hosts a kitchen utilizing local food production. Menus featuring own grown potatoes and vegetables, own hunted moose meat and fish from the lakes in the area, served at solid wooden tables on lower floor.
The collaborative space: The upper floor features two conference rooms of which one hosts a music studio, one of the ingredients in ViSLab Protocol.
The reflection zone: A lounge at the entrance provides an intentional space for relaxed evening alignment, processing strategic insights, and absorbing the atmosphere. Or why not jam in the music studio, which is fully accessible.
Winter season: Direct flight connectivity from various European airports, landing at the airport only 10 minutes from the facility.
Spring to autumn season: Flight connectivity via Oslo, followed by a 3-hour transfer via rental vehicle.
The program is designed based upon your company goals and expected or desired effects. The opportunities you want to develop, or the challenges you want to solve. The facilitation is exclusively formed into detail for maximum and sustainable effect and is thorough planned together with you as the client.

The setup
This strategic format focuses on the leadership session itself, utilizing the specific part of the ViSLab™ framework known as The Lab. As your facilitator, Katrin Halvarsson works embedded directly alongside your executive team over several days. We deconstruct your current situation and evaluate the environment across the five core profitability drivers: direction, structure, emotional facts, keys to success, and effects.
The session is planned into detail together with you as the client to match your specific goals. By looking at all five drivers simultaneously, we identify the exact root causes behind symptoms like reporting inconsistencies, late decision materials, or rising internal friction. The objective is to resolve these bottlenecks and establish a clear, collaborative environment that ensures long-term financial strength and sustainable development.
There are a lot of interesting topics to tell about. We like to take the audience on a journey through interactive lectures, which usually result in unforeseen insights. That is the way we work as well.
We demonstrate topics such as profitability architecture, present a facilitation leading to insights about how leaders' own role in a company affect performance, both direct and indirect, about the key to eliminate bias, and similar. Everything aims towards company wellbeing and growth.
